Good In Bed {Book Review}

Jennifer Weiner - Good In Bed

I finally finished Jennifer Weiner’s Good In Bed. I loved the character Cannie, but I have to admit this was not my favorite Jennifer Weiner novel. I definitely did not expect the ending of the book and I always love a good turn of events so that kept me intrigued but overall I felt like the book was a bit slow. I think it’s because in order to really understand Cannie we had to take a look into her not so awesome past. I was more interested in Cannie’s future and what was going to happen next.

I read in the back of the book that Cannie was to make a cameo in the book In Her Shoes but I don’t remember reading about her so I practically want to re-read it.

Anyways, I really loved Cannie. She’s a “larger woman”, she likes to eat and she is my kind of girl. I loved her sense of humor, even if it was the result of heartache. Overall, I would recommend this book and thought it was a worthwhile read.

Now, what shall I read next? Suggestions?

Find my book list {HERE} and check out Paperback Swap, I recommend it and use it all the time!

    This was her first book I think and the first one I read of hers. Her books have gotten better, but this was still a good one!

    I read this book as well I had never heard of this author until a friend referred me. I loved "Eat, Pray, Love" as well but here lately Kristin Hannah is an author I have read a lot of. Her books "Firefly Lane" "True Colors" and "Summer Island" have all been great to me and I'm in the process of reading "Between Sisters". I really should check out paperback swap I always love reading what my friends have and I"m sure there are tons of other people out there with amazing taste I'll look into it. Can't wait to read more of your book reviews!
