Hello! My name is Nicole but you can call me Mrs. Muffins if you want to! In 2009 I started this blog while my husband was on his second Iraq deployment. Now that he’s safely home (for now) I consider this blog my not-so-private diary.

I live in Ohio with my husband, daughter, and our two kitties. Matt and I started dating in high school and have been through a lot in the last nine years. Riley is our dream come true and the sweetest kid I know.

As for me, I love music. The only animals I eat are animal crackers. I write a ton of short stories nobody will ever read. I’m really shy. I have a gap in my teeth. I’ve lived in three states, been to twenty, but I still haven’t left the country… yet. I really want to visit Italy and Mexico. I love Mexican food. I have two dads. I love snail mail. I could probably win American Idol but I have boycotted the show ever since Chris Daughtry didn’t win. Only a few people have ever hear me sing though. I’m shy, remember?
